CollegePlace Uptown offers furnished one- and two-bedroom apartments near Illinois State University (ISU), including:

• 1×1 Standard, 1×1 Extended, 1×1 Luxury, and 1×1 Upgrade

Pricing is per person. CollegePlace Uptown uses individual lease liability, so each resident is responsible for their own lease, not a roommate’s share of the rent. That way, one roommate’s payments never affect yours. Rates for each floor plan are on our floor plans page.

Most utilities are included in rent at CollegePlace Uptown. Electricity is the exception: it’s billed separately based on usage and split among residents in the apartment.

High-speed Wi-Fi is provided at CollegePlace Uptown through a $25 monthly technology/communications fee, billed separately from rent.

CollegePlace Uptown offers 12-month leases for its student apartments.

You can pay rent in full at move-in or in monthly installments due on the 1st of each month. Rent can be paid by check, money order, or online through the resident portal. Late payments carry a fee of 10% of rent, and returned payments carry a $50 fee.

Move-in costs include a $50 application fee, a $250 administrative fee, and a $100 security deposit, for a total of $400. When you’re ready, you can apply online.

Yes! CollegePlace Uptown offers individual lease liability, so you’re responsible only for your own lease, not your roommates’ rent. It gives you added financial independence when sharing a two-bedroom apartment.
